The Halton Hills Public Library offers a range of materials and services for adults and seniors in our community. Browse our Event Calendar to see what programs we are offering for you! If you are a registered user with ActiVan Accessible Transit, you can purchase tickets at both Library branches. ActiVan services are for residents 65 years and over, and persons with disabilities living in Halton Hills.
See ActiVan Accessible Transit for more information. Book a one-on-one help session with a staff member at either branch location.
These minute appointments can help you learn a new technology, research your family history, or find information on a topic of interest. Search our catalogue for large-print books or audiobooks , or ask us how to get items in accessible formats through CELA Library.
We also have Book Club in a Bag kits ready for your next book club meeting, or can order books from another library through our Borrow from Another Library service. These tools are available to help you identify which appliances in your home consume the most energy. At least 1 adult aged 18 years must be in attendance. Passes can be used for a 7 day period. View our Library Catalogue to place a hold.
Halton Region garbage tags are available at the library. We can bring library materials to you in your home. See our Home Library Service page for more information. The Senior Driver's License Renewal Program is held at the Georgetown Branch for seniors over the age of 80 who need to renew their driver's licences. You will be notified by the Ministry of Transportation if you are a senior who needs to attend.
